Violin making workshops comprise 10 days ½
of activity. There is no working activity on Sunday afternoon.
You can arrive on the first Sunday during the day to make yourselves
at home. The workshop itself starts on the first Monday and
ends on the second Friday in the evening. The bow workshop comprises
6 days of workshop. Constructing a violin, a viola, a viol or
a cello is long, and obviously you will not be able to finish
your instrument in two weeks. However, the major part will be
done. We will evaluate with you at the end of the workshop the
various possibilities offered to finish your instrument. At
the end of the bow making workshop a majority of workshop participants
can play with their new bow…The same applies to those making
electric guitars.
